Welcome to Avenue Lofts!
The Avenue Lofts building has a unique place in our City’s history. Built in 1923 as the Meier & Frank warehouse, it was visited by generations of Portland families. In 2004, Robert Ball converted the former department store warehouse into 166 authentic lofts. The Avenue Lofts has the distinction of being named to the National Register of Historic Places.

About Avenue Lofts
The lofts at Avenue feature elements of the classic industrial warehouse – concrete columns, extra-large windows and high ceilings – but are updated with elegant birds-eye style maple floors, designer kitchens, stainless steel appliances and European lighting.
The building has many amenities. It offers a fitness center, secure, covered parking, a dramatic open-air atrium, and a pedestrian-only street made with Belgian cobblestone. Tax freeze expired in September 2015. |
Avenue Amenities
Like most loft buildings, The Avenue doesn't have a lot of resident amenities in the building, but that's a good thing because it keeps the HOA dues lower than comparable condo buildings in the area.
